What do patients need to bear in mind at dental surgery?

Usually, our patients are released home immediately after oral surgery (under supervision with an escort). You will be given a prescription for a suitable painkiller. Post-surgery, it is recommended that you cool the area with compresses and cold drinks (water or camomile tea). For the time following the procedure, you should avoid consuming alcohol, nicotine, caffeine, acidic drinks and fruit juices, physical exertion and heat (sauna or sunbathing).
